Virtual REALTY, Meeting Future Tenants in Virtual Spaces

Posted on January 29, 2018

As the BOMA Editorial Board was exploring topics for the next issue of Insight Magazine, a question came up to why commercial leasing companies are not taking advantage of technology to meet tenants online in the same manner that residential leasing companies do. This was a very interesting article to write which led me to Chip Wade, of WadeWorks Creative, a celebrity craftsman and HGTV show host. Chip’s team produces virtual reality (VR) 360 video to create a user experience that places the viewer inside the space so they can navigate through the video just as if they were a character inside of a computer game. Residential leasing companies use VR360 user experience technology, which has already proven to be very effective, so why hasn’t this technology been adopted by the commercial leasing companies?
